Trilnot No. 4 CutBy Charles Covill Intermediate faceting project. While the shape of this cut (here, shown in blue topaz) is similar to a triangle, it's not a true triangle because of the soft corners. To get the name, I combined the first three letters of triangle and the word not to get trinot. This didn't sound quite right, so I added the l, and voila: trilnot.
